Our Story – From a Spark to a Movement
Some years ago, I began to notice a troubling pattern, a growing number of young people being swept away by Ponzi schemes and digital distractions. The allure of quick money and shortcuts was replacing the true promise of the digital age: innovation, empowerment, and transformation.
It struck a deep chord within me.
That’s when an old adage came alive in my heart:
“If you want to help a man, don’t just give him a fish, teach him how to fish.”
That single thought sparked a vision – a vision to create a platform that would equip young Africans with the right tools, skills, and mindset to thrive in the digital economy.
That vision is now called G-Mark Tech Hub.
Long before our official launch, I began expressing this dream through small but intentional initiatives:
The Annual Tech Bootcamp (TECHY) — launched around my birthday to remind my fellow young people: You can do more with your mind and hands in this age of technology.
The YCD Sales Community — a platform where young people could earn by referring tech solutions, birthing the phrase: Earn with Your Computer Doctor.
These early steps laid the foundation for what G-Mark Tech Hub has become today — a center committed to empowering lives through technology, digital education, and meaningful partnerships.
